ACE Certified Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Instructor
Ahmet has been serving the seacoast area via the food service industry at his family owned staple, Caffe Kilim in Portsmouth, NH. He is no stranger to hard work and has recently acquired his ACE Personal Trainer Certification. He has been instructing classes at Coastal Fitness for a few months now, including a new Strength Training focused class. With a burning passion to help people achieve their goals, Ahmet has found fitness to be his ultimate dream job. Growing up as a bigger kid through his early years, he discovered fitness to be his calling to better himself, and become the outgoing, energetic, and gentle giant that he is today. Ahmet brings science based techniques and exercises for weight-loss and strength training. His caring and motivated nature is well suited for both seasoned gym goers, and especially for those that might be nervous to take that next step. He is eager to help you reach your health and fitness goals!
Amber Ellis
NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, & Eat to Perform Professional Nutritional Coach

Amber found a deep love of strength training later in life after homeschooling 6 children and having a significant amount of weight to lose by age 40, complete with severe diastasis recti and low muscle mass. She was always active and outdoorsy; farming, hiking, running and kayaking, but chronic back pain and auto- immune disease held her back until she began focusing on functional strength training and strategic holistic nutrition, and turned her life around.

Amber is passionate about helping other find their way to their most vibrant selves: empowered confident and strong! She is very experienced with managing busy schedules, parenthood and alternative diet needs. She personally thrives to push her own comfort zones as she is a competitive weightlifter.
Donald Pexton
ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Coastal Fitness Assistant General Manager.
Donald is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where he studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Donald first discovered his passion for fitness during his Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning classes at Portsmouth High School. After an internship at Dover Physical Therapy, he decided to pursue personal training full-time to continue his passion for helping people reach their true fitness goals. He has spent the past 6-7 years personal training at Boston Sports Clubs in Salisbury, the Granite State YMCA, the UNH employee fitness program, and Fitness Together in Newburyport. Donald has worked with clients of all ages and abilities and believes they can all achieve their goals with the right mindset. When he's not at work, Donald loves watching movies, spending time with friends, playing video games, visiting local restaurants/breweries, swimming, and golfing during the Spring/Summer.
Jill Horgan

Jill is a NASM certified personal trainer with a BS in Nutritional Sciences. She was a gymnast and former gymnastics coach for 12 years. She couldn’t shake that competitive edge and loves to bring a challenge to each of her classes. She strives for a healthy gym-life balance and loves to make the gym a FUN and approachable place. Outside of the gym you can find Jill in the garden, volunteering at her favorite rescue, or exploring good eats around town.

Meet Kacey, a NASM-certified personal trainer with over 5 years of training experience. A fitness enthusiast from a young age, Kacey turned their passion into a career and is now dedicated to helping individuals of all ages achieve their fitness goals.
Kacey has successfully trained clients ranging from 20 to 83 years old, helping them surpass their own expectations, and strives to make every movement and exercise relevant to real-life situations, so clients can experience improvements in their everyday lives.

With a focus on building strength and endurance, Kacey uses cutting-edge techniques to create personalized workouts that challenge clients while minimizing the risk of injury. So whether you're a seasoned gym-goer or just starting your fitness journey, Kacey provides a supportive environment that inspires clients to push beyond their limits and reach new heights.

Phil is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer who loves to help his clients reach and exceed their cardio, weight training and flexibility goals.
Phil is a huge advocate of leading a healthy, active lifestyle, and his customized plans are designed with that in mind. He believes that you should be able to work for what you want without having to skip out on fun, and aims to bring a little bit of that fun into every work out session. Work hard. Play hard. Sarah Beers
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Sarah is a NASM certified personal trainer as well as a certified nutrition coach, group fitness instructor and online fitness coach. She was a collegiate lacrosse player and track runner and loves helping people dream big, achieve and surpass their goals. Sarah loves helping clients build a healthy relationship with the gym and movement. She prioritizes creating programs based around functional training movements that mimic movements used in everyday life. Whatever your goals are, you can be confident that you will get a personalized program specifically tailored to your experience, body, individual needs and goals so that you can get the best experience from your training possible!
