Want to add true strength training to your routine but don’t know where to begin?
Strength Training for Beginners is a circuit-based program specifically designed to help individuals understand and learn the basics of strength training. The primary goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to comfortably transition into RipTide Strength Classes.
Circuit-Based Format: The class follows a circuit-style structure, where participants move through a series of strength-training exercises at different stations. This format not only provides a comprehensive full-body workout but also adds an element of variety to keep participants engaged.
Fundamental Exercises: Throughout the circuit, participants will be introduced to fundamental strength exercises essential for building a solid foundation. These may include squats, lunges, bench presses, cable exercises and other key movements.
Guided Instruction: Experienced instructors lead the class, offering guidance on proper form and body alignment at each station. This hands-on approach ensures that participants understand and execute exercises safely and effectively.
Equipment Usage: Various equipment, such as dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, smith machines, squat racks, cables and bodyweight exercises may be incorporated into the circuit to provide a well-rounded strength-training experience.
Progressive Learning: The class is designed as a progressive learning experience, allowing participants to gradually build strength and confidence. As individuals become familiar with the basics, they'll be better prepared to participate in more challenging strength classes like Rip Tide Strength.
Preparation for Rip Tide Strength Classes: The ultimate aim of the beginner strength class is to prepare participants for regular attendance in Rip Tide Strength classes. These more advanced sessions offer increased intensity and a broader range of strength exercises.
